I just found this video and wow, the flood of memories; - from a year or two prior to Brent's Spiritual awakening unto Yeshua Jesus. 1, 2, 3, 4, count the children - don't make me listen... the last time I heard Brent behind a mic when I was in the audience was his final performance with Charlie when they were together in a band. The last thing he said was, "We *_were_* the Charlie Peacock band." - circa ~1985, though I don't recall exactly the year, it was right around then, +/- I only talked to Brent a couple of times here and there before he left the Sacramento area. - Somewhere (lost in a box of ancient cassettes) I still have the recording I made that evening when I tapped directly off the mixing board. ...time 🤔

I was in Las Vegas with a ministry team when I heard the song 'Heaven' for the first time. It was so powerful that I can remember where I was and what I was doing. That song has not only gotten me through the day-to-day, but it has also carried me through so many of my darkest hours of loss. I remember Bob saying in an interview that he would give up his music in a heartbeat and pump gas for a living if his family in any way was suffering neglect from him traveling around to sing. How precious! How I praise God for Bob Carlisle and his awesome gift!

When Patrick mentioned they were going to play something from their up coming album Them, it took me back. I remember when that came out and I was excited to get it. Such good stuff, I still listen to Goldie, Great Lenths and Them a lot. I haven't heard the first album since the early 90's. Some of these songs are so rushed.

Stu Heiss struggling for a lead on "Colours" ?! That is so weird. Those lines were scripted and not difficult. Okay. Stage Notes. Lighting. That spotlight is so 1970. James Taylor called, he wants it back. .why not 4 simple light standards with primary colours on easy rotation. But, I NEVER Ever understood ANY point of making a guitar player PLAY IN THE DARK...oh that'll be fun...No. i never thought it was cool. Bragfest 00 : " my favorite guitarist plays great in pitch black. No lights at all. So i guess thats a test or something.. Anyway...wow totally in the dark...ya what a player. Good thing that spotlight guy went to get a hot dog and a coke...really answered a pesky question ive had for decades : Can my favorite guitar players play in total darkness. I knew they could in the culture but i just didnt ever think they could play in the dark onstage. Impressive."

I am a huge fan of everything TST has been involved in musically. I got to see him and the Lost Dogs play many times. This video has some of my favorite musicians playing! Love ya Terry!

Wow! I didn't know Rez was still performing as a band as late as 2008! Thanks for this upload! Wendy's rap at 11:08 (introducing 'Afrikaans') about how music can help bring about social change.....oh, yes. When I first spun my vinyl copy of the Awaiting Your Reply album in '79, the line about "we need Apartheid to keep the animal in his cell" was a total mystery to me. And I'm black. I knew LOADS about racism in THIS country, but had NO IDEA that forced, legal separation of the races was STILL GOING ON (at that point in time) on the African continent. If nothing else, Resurrection Band's music was an education to ME. (But I'm sure they educated more believers than just me.) In SO MANY ways, this group was way ahead of its time.
